I check new requests and activate licenses once a week, on Sundays — so it can take up to a week to receive yours. The exact timing also depends on how long your broker needs to register TLFX as your Introducing Broker; once that is confirmed, your license is issued on the next Sunday check. You will always get an email from me once your license is activated, so you never have to sit and wait or check yourself — and if something is missing, I will email you about that too.

You don't need a new account. Just send an email to your broker's support asking them to move your existing account under TLFX as your Introducing Broker.

If your account is already registered under Tom Loebel as your Introducing Broker, there is nothing extra to do. Simply fill in the request form below with your existing account details.

The free license is tied to a partner-broker account. If you want to run an EA on a broker outside my partners, you need to purchase it directly on the MQL5 marketplace.

Yes, in two ways. To backtest, download the free demo from the EA’s MQL5 page and run it in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester on historical data. To test it live with real execution and spreads, open a Cent account with Ultima Markets and run the full licensed EA for just a few dollars. On Ultima, make sure you choose the Raw Cent account — not the Standard one — so your spreads and costs match how the EA is built to trade. Opening the Ultima account through my link also qualifies you for a free license.

A Cent account is a normal live account, except your balance and profit/loss are counted in cents instead of dollars — deposit $10 and it reads 1,000. Trades are scaled down to match, so you can test an Expert Advisor with real money, real spreads and real execution while risking only a few dollars. Once you are happy with it, you move up to a standard account and the same settings scale straight up. Ultima Markets offers Cent accounts, which is why it is my recommended broker for testing.

Yes. There is no charge for the license. My partner brokers support my work through the affiliate partnership, which lets me pass the software on to you at no cost.

Yes. Each license is tied to one specific MT5 account number, so you need to submit the request form again for the additional account — pick the EA you want and enter the new account number. Repeat for every extra account / EA pairing you want to run.

Yes. As long as the new account is still with one of my partner brokers, just submit the request form again with your new account number, then send me a quick message with your old account number (the one the EA is currently licensed to). I'll activate the license on your new account and deactivate the old one.

Don't worry — you can grab the licensed version again right here. Pick your Expert Advisor and download it. These are the full licensed builds; each one only runs on an account that has been approved for it.

Essentially yes — there is no expiry date as long as you keep using the EA. The only exception is inactivity: if the EA is not used on your account for more than six months in a row, the license is revoked. Just reach out and I can reissue it if that ever happens.

All TLFX Expert Advisors are built for MetaTrader 5 (MT5).

Nothing is lost. Your positions and pending orders live on the broker’s server, not inside MetaTrader, so stop losses and take profits stay active even while the terminal is closed. When MT5 comes back up and the Expert Advisor reloads on its chart, it picks up every trade it was managing and carries on where it left off, including its own break-even and partial take-profit levels. The on-chart dashboards come back with it: your settings are restored as you left them, and Forex Flipper’s Guard limits are held on my server per day — so a restart or a crash can never reset a daily limit or clear a lock. The one thing worth checking afterwards is that AutoTrading is switched back on in the MT5 toolbar.

No profitability can be guaranteed. Trading carries substantial risk and past performance is not an indicator of future results — the Expert Advisors are trading tools, not a promise of returns. That being said, I am only publishing EAs I personally use and run on my own accounts.

Yes — completely. As an Introducing Broker, I only earn a small share of the spread or commission your broker collects while you trade. If you blow the account, you stop trading and I stop earning. So our interests are genuinely aligned: I want you to be profitable, because your success is what sustains this site and lets me offer the EAs for free.

The default settings are not always optimised. It is therefore strongly recommended to run your own backtests.
